How strong could the love for your child be?

The life of a newborn: eat, sleep, cry, poop, repeat cycle. I was thinking, how could something so simple be so stressful? Wednesday was a rough one. Easton has had Jaundice which is making him tired, so tired that it was making it hard for him to nurse. So here is this poor kid, helpless as could be, so tired he can't seem to stay awake long enough to fill his belly that is making him so hungry, later screaming out of what I can imagine as pure frustration. I have never felt the need so strongly to want to do anything in my power to take all his pain and  make his little hurt go away. I never could have imagined how the love for your child could be so strong. I would give up anything for my little champ to have everything he wants to be happy. Man, I love that kid.
Here are some great pictures that we have been able to get of Easton for all you that are far away.

GOT MILK?

Because he lost a little too much weight we have to give him formula on top of the breast milk for more calories. I love how he puts his hands up to the bottle.

He is so funny. If he can get his mouth on something he will suck on it, including his own hand or arm.

When he sleeps he loves to have his hands by his head and face.

Looks like he found his thumb. He definitely loves the comfort of suckling.

Thankfully he rides well in the car. Hasn't fussed yet while we were driving.

My little buddy. Its incredible how small he is next to me.

Holy cow! You can tell who he belongs to! He is so sweet! Isn't is amazing how Heavenly Father does it? He gives you this beautiful, helpless baby, that you have to constantly serve and love and adore, so much, that you are still willing to love, serve and adore them when they are "terrible" twos, or snotty teens. They steal your heart while they are tiny and helpless, and keep it forever. Love it. He is adorable! You are such sweet parents!
